Partially because or part of teh country was not hit as hard, but mostly because the fear that was being spread was more imaginary than real. Yes, investments were down, and people who's present income depended upon those investments were hard hit, but most people were concerned because their 'future' income looked bad. Cycles in the market have always been and always be with us. if we do not let the fear cause us to do something foolish, it the market will recover. Besides, the market is not my source, God is my source!
